Midfielder Michael Rischitelli (1,636 points) still holds a comfortable outright lead over second placed Luke Power (1,437 points) while teenager Jack Redden (1,357 points) continues to round out the top three.
It was no coincidence that Rischitelli, Power and Redden were also the three best performed Lions players in terms of Dream Team points in last Saturday’s loss to the Cats.
Power topped the Round 17 totals with 112 points although all three players managed to exceed the 100-point mark.
The main mover was ruckman Matthew Leuenberger whose impressive string of recent performances has him ranked in outright fourth position with 1,282. He also had the fourth highest round total (91 points) for the Lions.
In the Club’s Dream Team competition, CheyneB Brooke’s side - ‘Cloke’n’mirrors’ - had a huge week, scoring a League high 2,252 points to edge further in front of Stephen Linton’s ‘TruthOrConsequence’ team who was the early favourite for the main prize.
Among the Lions staff and players, Ash McGrath moved up 18 spots to 438th overall ahead of Justin Sherman who slipped back to 445th overall.
Jed Adcock remains the best placed Lions player in 251st while Lions Performance Ananlysis Manager Jarrod Harkness is starting to threaten the leaders having moved into the top 50 for the first time this year.
