Brisbane Lions Senior Coach Chris Fagan comes into the Club with a new set of eyes, and is nothing but impressed with the intensity of which the players are attacking the INC Pre-Season Training Camp in Launceston.
“(I’m) very pleased with the intensity of today’s session, in fact I had to pull them up a few times - they were going pretty hard,” Fagan told Lions TV after today’s open training session at UTAS Stadium.
“That’s a good problem to have as a coaching group, when you see the players embracing the training in that sort of manner.
“I think the boys are enjoying the cooler climate, which is what we came down here for.
“We got a lot out of the session, as we did out of the session on Monday as well.
“Particularly in terms of learning our game plan and learning how we want to go about things.”

Throughout the week, the players have been introduced to the new game plan and Fagan is confident that the players will leave the camp with a much better understanding of how the Coaching group wants them to attack Season 2017.

“We’ve introduced our game plan and we’re doing some more game like drills,” Fagan said.
“The players will head back to Brisbane over the weekend, having a better understanding of how we want them to play the game next year.”
