Jordan Zanchetta will make her return to the Lions’ side for her first AFLW game of the season in Sunday’s Q Clash.
The inaugural Q Clash last year was a draw and the Lions will be looking to score first blood against their arch-rivals from the Gold Coast at Hickey Park.
Zanchetta replaces Maria Moloney in the only change to the side that defeated Richmond by 29 points at The Swinburne Centre in round one.
The 25-year-old midfielder comes into the side for her 12 AFLW game full of confidence after a starring QWAFL season with Yeronga.
She shared the QWAFL best and fairest award with Lions teammates Belle Dawes and Taylor Smith and was named best on ground in Devils’ premiership triumph.
Her stunning season was capped off when she also claimed Yeronga’s best and fairest.
The Q Clash will see Taylor Smith take on her old Club the Suns for the first time after crossing over the Brisbane in the off-season.
