Brisbane Lions fans around the country were treated to post-game access like they’ve never experienced before on lions.com.au, with Co-Captain Jed Adcock performing a live chat just 30 minutes after the team’s 28-point win against Melbourne.

Adcock logged onto the Lions’ website approximately half an hour after the match to give fans a unique insight into the Club’s post-game process.

It was the first time such an initiative has been trialled on lions.com.au.

Adcock was generally positive about the Lions’ first home win of 2013, but said the focus would now shift on next Sunday’s visit to the SCG.

“Our numbers tell us that we won the areas we focussed on, which is important to us. But there is definitely a lot of room for improvement,” Adcock said.

“We didn't convert all our opportunities in front of goal and also missed a few targets going inside 50, which is something we will work on through the week.”

“We haven't travelled well to Sydney in the past, but it’s a good opportunity for us to put good back-to-back games together.”

Adcock went on to speak in further detail about Justin Clarke’s debut game, Brent Staker’s imminent return,  and Brent Moloney’s impressive outing against his former club.

He also revealed that “eating and drinking lots” and “getting in plenty of sleep” were the keys behind a speedy recovery.

Be sure to stay tuned to lions.com.au throughout the season for more exclusive access into the Lions’ inner-sanctum on match-days.
