The Brisbane Lions unearthed some young talent in Harris Andrews, Jaden McGrath, Billy Evans, Liam Dawson and Hugh Beasley in 2015 – all of whom represent the future of our Club.
A local Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy product, Andrews, played 19 games last season and signed a three-year contract extension, keeping the 18-year-old at the Lions until at least the end of 2018.
“I was a bit of a late bloomer but the Lions Academy developed me and it was a no-brainer when the time came to stick with the Club.
“There’s a lot of great talent here and I’m excited about our future,” Andrews said.
With successful off-season recruiting and a fit squad commencing training today – the Lions are primed for a better and brighter 2016.
