The Brisbane Lions AFLW side has today traded defender Nicole Hildebrand to Collingwood in exchange for pick 40 at the upcoming AFLW Draft.
Hildebrand spent two seasons at the Lions and played in their inaugural AFLW Grand Final in 2017.
“Nicole has been a solid piece in our backline for the past two years. She is really excited to pursue a new job in Melbourne. It was an opportunity she could not pass up and we wish her the best in her future endeavours,” Lions AFLW CEO Breanna Brock said.
