The Academy, which holds responsibility for scouring the state for budding footballers, will run two Talent Identification Camps this April.
The aims of the camps are simple – 1, to expose elite youth footballers to a higher standard of training and football education, and 2, to assist Brisbane Lions recruiters in finding the very best talent to join the Lions Academy.
Camp details are as follows:
Camp 1: U12-U13 – 8-9 April
Camp 2: U14-U16 – 11-12 April
Included in the camp:
- Six hours of coaching per day from Hyundai Lions Academy Coaches, Brisbane Lions Assistant Coaches, Strength and Conditioning Coaches and Dieticians
- Specific session delivered by Brisbane Lions players
- Official camp training singlet
- 2013 3-Game Brisbane Lions General Admission Membership
- Morning tea and lunch both days
- Lions Shop discount voucher
- Lions Academy Training Manual
Cost per participant: $175.00
Enrolments are open to all players in the age brackets specified (no club football required). Camps are designed to assist our Academy staff in identifying the best talent from players not already enrolled in the Academy. Camps will be physically demanding – participants must be able to handle these.
