Hugh McCluggage is set to return from injury in a massive boost for Brisbane ahead of Sunday’s top-four clash with Fremantle.
The talented midfielder missed last week’s win against the Giants with hamstring awareness, but is set to play a key role for the Lions after getting through full training.
McCluggage’s return is a timely one for Brisbane, who will be looking to further consolidate their top four spot with a win over the in-form Dockers.
The test in the west is expected to be a crucial one to kickstart the Lions massive month of football with Lachie Neale returning to his former stomping ground this Sunday.
This weeks clash will be just the second time Neale has played Fremantle on their home deck since becoming a Lion in 2019.
Dev Robertson will hold his place in Chris Fagan's side, while Jaxon Prior, Keidean Coleman and Noah Answerth make up the rest of the bench.
Cal Ah Chee, Tom Berry, Rhys Mathieson and Tom Fullarton have been named as emergencies.
