Livewire forward Zimmie Farquharson will miss Friday night’s clash against the Adelaide Crows after undergoing surgery for a broken finger on Tuesday.
Scans on Monday revealed that Farquharson had sustained a fracture in finger in Saturday’s game against North Melbourne.
Young Lions Bella Smith and Lily Postlethwaite are progressing well in their recovery following ACL injuries earlier this season.
Both Smith and Postlethwaite have taken the next steps in their rehabilitation programs and have returned to the gym after recovering well from their respective surgeries.
The pair will continue to work towards a return to the elite level in 2023.
