Pearce Hanley and Ryan Lester have been recalled to the Brisbane Lions senior team ahead of Sunday afternoon's Round 6 clash against Sydney at the SCG.
Hanley returns after serving a one-match suspension, while Lester has been named for just his second match of 2013.
The pair's inclusion comes at the expense of Sam Docherty and Andrew Raines who have both been omitted.
Raines has been listed as one of the team's three emergencies, along with Jordan Lisle and Jack Crisp who were also part of Friday's preliminary 25-man squad.
The Lions will conduct their final training session at the Gabba on Saturday morning before flying out to Sydney in the afternoon.
