The Brisbane Lions VFL side will ramp up their preparations for the 2025 Smithy’s VFL season, taking on the Gold Coast SUNS in a practice game on Saturday morning.
Draftees Ty Gallop and Sam Marshall headline an array of young talent on display at Brighton Homes Arena with the first bounce from 11am.
Youi Brisbane Lions Academy members Wyatt Greenaway, Fergus McFadyen and Ryan Glider will get an early taste of VFL action.
New VFL-listed recruits Charlie Offermans and James Creighton have also been named alongside Harry Arnold, who returns to the Lions VFL program after two seasons at the Sydney Swans.
This will be the Lions final tune up before taking on Port Melbourne at Brighton Homes Arena in Round 1 on Saturday March 22 from 11:05am.
