Brisbane Lions Vice-Captain Tom Rockliff shared his thoughts on Thursday night's NAB Challenge practice match against Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium.
Rockliff, who was rested from the Lions' side, took control of the Brisbane Lions’ official Twitter account (@brisbanelions) during the second quarter of the match to provide a unique match commentary for fans.
With the Lions held goalless in the second term and on the wrong side of an 84-point deficit at half time, it's fair to say that it was a tough task for the 2011 Club Champion to come up with anything too positive. But here's a snapshot of what he had to say:
Been a hot start to the game so far, but the hawks have just been a little bit cleaner #askrocky

Boys fighting hard but the hawks have 13 premiership players, while we have only a few players who've played 50+ games! Tough ask #askrocky

Tough quarter of footy, still a very raw group. Give them time #BelieveBelong
