Craig Starcevich has named an unchanged side in Friday night’s do or die clash with the GWS Giants in Blacktown.

Tahlia Randall, fresh from her Round 6 Rising Star nomination will play at ruck. Joining her on field is ball magnet Kate Lutkins and the AFLW’s third highest goal kicker Jess Wuetschner. 

Nicole Hildebrand has been forced to miss a second week of football after suffering a head injury in Round 5’s loss to the Melbourne Demons.

The Lions are desperate to secure a victory in their last regular season game in the hope of reaching a consecutive AFLW Grand Final.

“It’s exciting that there is still plenty to play for,” Starcevich said.

“We go into the game with nothing to lose and plenty to gain.”

Jordan Zanchetta and Jessy Keefe have been named as emergencies and will travel with the team.
