LAST TIME THEY MET
Despite bolting out of the blocks, the Brisbane Lions were unable to stop a rampaging Swans at the SCG.

The Lions kicked the first three goals of the match, before Adam Goodes steadied the ship with a 50m set shot. The Swans then slotted the next four unanswered for a four point lead at the first break.

The second term started with a bang for the Lions with Daniel Rich kicking his first, but it was all Swans from there. Sydney kicked five of the next six goals to open up a 21 point lead at half time.

Sydney made the most of the halftime buffer, with the Swans kicking the first four goals of the third term, setting themselves up for a 47-point victory.
