Exciting Brisbane Lions defender Keidean Coleman is available for selection ahead of Thursday night’s Round 3 clash against the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.
Coleman missed last Friday’s win against Melbourne through concussion protocol but has since ‘ticked all of the boxes’ and has been cleared to take on the Bulldogs.
Another key Lion in Callum Ah Chee is also back in selection contention for coach Chris Fagan, while defender Darcy Gardiner is progressing well as he continues to overcome an ankle injury.
“Cal made his return in the VFL on the weekend, and he got through well,” said Brisbane Lions High Performance Manager Damien Austin.
“Darcy (Gardiner) has been participating in skills training for the past couple of weeks now and is improving greatly.
“We are looking at him returning to play in the next week or two.”
