The Brisbane Lions could head into Saturday night’s match against Greater Western Sydney unchanged for the first time under Senior Coach Justin Leppitsch’s tenure.

On the back of a rare victory at Etihad Stadium, and with no fresh injuries to speak of, Leppitsch and his Match Committee simply proceed with the same 22 players who helped get the job done against the Western Bulldogs last Saturday night.

However the Giants and Bulldogs are vastly different sides, so potential match-ups might play a role in determining who, if anyone, might miss out.

Daniel McStay and Jackson Paine were among the Lions’ standouts in the NEAFL, playing defensive roles, but it’s hard to see how they might force themselves into the side given the Club’s back six has been quite solid of late.

Ash McGrath booted four goals and could prove a handy addition, however he’s expected to spend at least one more game in the NEAFL.

The likes of Tom Cutler, Ryan Lester, Andrew Raines, and Brent Moloney might also come into the frame, although it will be hard for the Match Committee to mess with a winning formula.

The Lions’ Round 13 team will be revealed at 6:25pm tonight on lions.com.au.
