It's always a physical clash when we come up against the Saints!
As per usual, we've collated the data, run the numbers and this is everything you need to both know and be excited about before bounce tonight.
Last time we met
It was Cam's world last time we played the Saints.
After reports a young child was struggling to sleep, Cam being the caring man he is, beautifully insisted the rowdy St Kilda quietened down after he kicked a crucial last quarter goal to seal a 15-point victory for the good guys!
Hugh McCluggage was excellent for the Lions with 24 disposals and a goal, while Daniel Rich was also terrific with 26 disposals.
Let's hope history repeats tonight!
Be excited about
Spud's Game
We'll run out with St Kilda for their third annual Spud's Game at Marvel on Friday night.
A match for mental health, the Club recently had Chelsea Frawley jump on Kick Ons to educate us on her father, Danny's legacy as well as the great work the Danny Frawley Centre does in raising funds for a number of mental health initiatives.
The conversation has begun. Now, it's time to show up.
Lions fans are encouraged to show up for the 2 in 5 Australian's who will experience mental-ill health and donate to the Danny Frawley Centre.
Match up we're keen for
Oscar McInerney vs Rowan Marshall
Seems obvious saying the game will be won in the middle (good one admin...), but the two tall timbers in the middle will have a big say in the shape of the game early.
Our very own Big O is ranked #3 in the AFL for average hit-outs, while Marshall averages 16 disposals a game and is in terrific form.
It'll be a great battle to watch, but we're backing Big O in!
