Pretty safe to say it was an absolute thriller last time we played Richmond at The Gabba.

Joe Daniher's goal in the dying seconds of our Elimination Final has lived rent free in our minds for close to a year now, but we've had to put that aside and focus on tonight.

You know the drill Lions fans, data = collated, facts = found, admin team = providing everything you need to know for prime time footy vs the Tiges.

Let's dive in!

Last time we met

Well... we just spoke about it but let's relive in shall we?

Here's what the AFL had to say about the game:

"Joe Daniher is Brisbane's hero.

04:31

Following a week of scrutiny around his impact in finals, the lanky forward has piloted the Lions into a semi-final with a last-gasp goal to cap a thrilling victory over Richmond.

With less than 70 seconds remaining and Brisbane trailing by four points, Zac Bailey pumped the ball deep inside 50, and Daniher was on the spot to soccer through the scraps from close range.

It was the 17th and final lead change in a remarkable contest played out in front of 35,013 partisan fans.

Brisbane's 16.10 (106) to 16.8 (104) victory – its second finals triumph under Chris Fagan – was full of merit after playing without ruckman Oscar McInerney for almost the entire night.

Brisbane had heroes everywhere, led by midfield maestro Lachie Neale, whose 39 disposals and 15 clearances willed his team over the line.

Daniher, Charlie Cameron and Eric Hipwood finished with three goals apiece, while Hugh McCluggage and Zac Bailey played instrumental midfield roles.

Darcy Wilmot also become the first Brisbane Lion to debut in an AFL Final, capping off an impressive first game with a big goal to put us in front.

Be excited about...

Cal's Back!

Cal Ah Chee will return for his third game of the season.

The versatile utility is coming off a big outing against Sandringham in the VFL last week, where he collected 24 disposals, two goals and six marks.

Lions fans know that Cal can play in any line on the ground and we can't wait to see what he brings to the game tonight!

Giving back to Ronald McDonald House

For every goal we kick tonight, the Brisbane Lions will donate $500 to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.

A fantastic cause that creates, finds and supports programs that directly impact the health and wellbeing of children and their families.

The Club couldn't be prouder to be supporting the cause and let's hope the boys pile on the points!

Match ups we're keen for

Charlie Cameron vs Dylan Grimes

It's safe to say these two have a healthy rivalry.

While Grimes had the wood over our Charlie early days, the Country Road star has been a handful for the Richmond Co-Captain in recent encounters.

For the stats heads, Charlie is averaging 11.5 touches and 1.8 goals a game and impressing with his front half pressure, while Grimes averages 11.4 disposals and 2.3 tackles.
