We're only a week away from Round One of the 2023 NAB AFLW Season and we couldn't be more excited!
Before our girls season kicks off, we asked them who has been impressing on the track this pre-season.
This is what they said!
Jade Ellenger says...
Charlie Mullins.
She's improved out of sight this pre-season. Her running ability and pressure has gone to another level and she's always so composed with the footy in hand!
Shannon Campbell says...
Charlie Mullins.
Her growth has been massive. Attacks the ball, puts her head over the footy. Skilful and reads the ball well.
Bre Koenen says...
I'd say Belle Dawes.
Really stepped up in all aspects! Strength and conditioning for starters but most of all, her leadership has been super impressive.

She's had a great pre-season and has just gone to another level this year. I can't wait to see what she can do this upcoming season.

She's back fit and firing after her ACL injury and has been killing it in the practice games.

She's really stepped up in the off season with her leadership and voice. She's such a competitor and will be a real threat in the middle.

She's taking risks with the footy in training and in games and using her voice more. Really starting to show confidence on the field.

She's come out of her shell and is a great teammate. She's putting herself in positions where she can show off her skills more and we're starting to see what she's made of!

She's come into her own over the pre-season and really taken a step forward and improved her game.

She attacks the footy so hard and become a really strong leader through her actions and care for the girls.
