Exciting forward Kai Lohmann is back for the Brisbane Lions as they take on St Kilda at Marvel Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Lohmann hasn’t played since Round 3 due to soreness after a high ankle sprain in the Club’s Round 1 match against Sydney.

After training strongly on Thursday, the Lions confirmed Lohmann would take his place in the team.

Lohmann has been named on the bench with Logan Morris, James Tunstill as well as Ashcroft brothers Will and Levi.

Last week’s debutant Sam Marshall, who was impressive when coming on as sub in limited minutes of the final quarter against Collingwood, comes out of the 23.

However, the young midfielder is named as one of Brisbane’s three emergencies with Darcy Gardiner and Darcy Fort the other two.

Saturday’s match against St Kilda is scheduled for a 1:20pm start and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.
