Brisbane Lions defender Conor McKenna will be sidelined for four weeks with a hamstring injury, suffered during the final quarter of the Lions loss to Fremantle on Sunday.
Irishman, McKenna, who played his first game of 2024 was unable to run out the game while Darcy Gardiner was subbed out at half-time with a suspected knee injury.
Gardiner is awaiting scan results. The club will provide an update when the results are confirmed.
In positive news, Tom Doedee is back into full training with the aim to be available for the Lions Easter Thursday clash against Collingwood.
The Lions have this weekend off due to the Round 2 bye.
