The Brisbane Lions AFLW side have made two changes ahead of their trip to Geelong to take on Cats this Sunday afternoon.

Orla O’Dwyer and Shanae Davison will both make their return from injury against the Cats in a rematch of the 2023 Preliminary Final as Sophie Peters and Ellie Hampson make way.

O’Dwyer will play her first game since injuring her shoulder against Adelaide in Week 5 as Davison pulls on a Lions guernsey for the second time this year, following her wrist injury in Week 1 against North Melbourne.

The Lions travel to GMHBA Stadium looking to make it eight wins on the trot to further cement their place in the top four.

Sunday afternoon’s Week 8 clash against Geelong, is scheduled for 1:05pm local time at GMHBA Stadium, with the match broadcast live on 7Mate, Fox Footy and Kayo.
