The Brisbane Lions would like to clarify some important points:

Restore the Lions’ Pride Group

The Club has no official relationship with Dr Henry Pinskier other than that he is a member of the Brisbane Lions.

Members will be advised in official notices of how they can lodge their vote at next month’s EGM.

Notices will arrive this week.

The Club will also be appointing an independent scrutineer to oversee the process.

Member Privacy Concerns

The Brisbane Lions were made aware last week of emails that were being distributed to some Club members by Dr Henry Pinskier on behalf of a members’ group.

Some Lions members have since expressed to the Club their privacy concerns since receiving the correspondence.

The Club takes this matter very seriously and is continuing to look into how this data may have been acquired.

Members’ Survey

The Brisbane Lions’ would like to thank all of its members that responded to the Club’s annual survey in record numbers.

More than 3,000 members completed the survey – providing the Club with invaluable information to assist with planning and areas for improvement. Two-thirds of respondents were from Queensland.

As part of the survey, the Club sought to gauge the appetite for change amongst members with regards to its guernsey, with the current design in place since late 2009.

Members were asked: Do you believe the Lions’ guernsey should change design?
