The 2015 NAB AFL Draft Combine got underway over the weekend, with the key events crammed into two big days on Saturday and Sunday.
The Combine provides a final chance to see the players' personalities amongst their peers, their ability to interact in a group and who competes under difficult circumstances.
It promises to be a prolific year for the Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy with products Eric Hipwood, Mabior Chol, Ben Keays, Reuben William and Corey Wagner all offering exciting signs in this year’s Combine.
Keays also showed his work ethic in the 3km time trial at the end of the week recording 10.09 to finish sixth.
While Chol climbed to great heights recording 334cm in the Absolute Standing Vertical Jump, four centimetres higher than second placed Gach Nyuon. He recorded 357cm in the Absolute Running Vertical Jump and finished second for 30 metre Repeat Sprints (24.30).
Eric Hipwood also excelled, finishing in the top 10 for Absolute Standing Vertical Jump and Absolute Running Vertical Jump.
Highly touted youngster, Josh Schache, missed the Draft Combine through injury (toe).
The draft will be held in Adelaide on Tuesday, November 24.
