The Brisbane Lions Football Club passes on its condolences to Dayne and Claye Beams, their partners and the extended Beams family, following the sad passing of their father Philip Beams on Wednesday evening, after a long battle with bowel cancer.
The Club will continue to provide all the support
The Club asks that the media respect the privacy of the players and the Beams family at this time.
The Lions will wear black armbands in memory of Philip when they play St Kilda in Round 1 of the AFL premiership season.
