Senior Coach Michael Voss said that the team is determined to finish the season on a high note this weekend, so that each of the Club’s 20,752 members can head into the off-season encouraged by some genuine signs of improvement.
“Hopefully (our members) are beginning to see some exciting names starting to come through,” Voss said.
“We’ve gradually been blooding a group of young players and the Queensland public are starting to really buy into what we’re all about. And that’s certainly in the back of the players’ minds.”
“Coming into next year, we want to have 30,000 screaming fans making it really hard for opposition clubs at our home venue.”

Members will be acknowledged throughout Sunday’s game - which commences at 4:40pm - with a range of exciting match-day activities including:
• Lion Hunters - members who referred a new Member will participate in a pre-game lap of honour.
• Banner - will feature the names of ALL of our 2012 Members - see if you can find your name.
• Guard of Honour - made up of 50 of our loyal Members.
• Coin Toss - One luck member will have the chance to toss the coin with Browny.
• Member prizes - players will be handing out random prize rewards to Members.
• Thank you video - keep an eye on the big screen for a special message from Lions players.
• Member attendance program - 22 Members who have attended every Lions match at the Gabba in 2012 will be rewarded by going on the field after the game and receiving a signed guernsey from a player.
