Four Brisbane Lions players have been selected in the 2018 AFLW All Australian team.
Kate Lutkins, Sabrina Frederick-Traub, Jessica Wuetschner and Emily Bates have all been rewarded for their excellent seasons with
Lutkins was arguably the most improved player in the competition this year and was a rock in defence for the Lions. She narrowly missed out on best
Frederick-Traub and Wuetchner were potent attacking options for the Lions and tallied 21 goals between them. Frederick-Traub was an intimidating marking option that often drew two opposition defenders, while Wuetschner impressed with her crafty ability to find the goals and her elite kicking.
Tireless midfielder Bates averaged just over 17 disposals a game and is one of the most reliable players on the Lions' team.
Frederick-Traub and Bates were both also selected in the 2017 AFLW All Australian team.
