In 2020 the Brisbane Lions women’s team will wear the traditional Fitzroy red and blue guernsey as their away kit for the 2020 AFLW season.
The Club wanted to honour their Fitzroy past, as well as creating a more unified feel between the women’s and men’s teams.
The Brisbane Lions boast a rich and unique history and are committed to recognising and celebrating the origins born from Fitzroy and the Bears where possible.
