It will be the first time we've met West Coast in Perth since 2012, and Justin Leppitsch believes there's no better time to head across.

“I'm a believer that if you're going to go to Perth anytime, round one is a great time to do it,” Leppitsch said.

“Everyone's new and a bit unsure of each other and what they've done over the pre-season, and some of the great upsets happen in the first three of four rounds.

Coming off a loss in the 2015 Grand Final, you'd expect the Eagles to come out firing on Sunday. They're a team with plenty of talent around the ground.
