"Our injury list overall has been pretty good for the last couple of years. The staff have worked really well and collaboratively with the coaches to devise a training program that is working," Austin said.
"We know how quickly things can change but it's been a good year on the injury front."
After an excellent start to the year, Charlie Cameron was missed sorely by the Lions after sustaining a Lisfrance injury in Round 11 that saw him ruled out for the rest of the season.

Key defender Darcy Gardiner is expected to be back into full training after Christmas, after undergoing shoulder surgery last month.

"He will come back to full training in November, but we may modify his program since it's been a long period of time."
Alex Witherden's hamstring injury sustained in Round 22 has recovered well, while Matt Eagles
Austin confirmed all other players on the Lions' injury list will be right for the start of pre-season in November.
