A busy day at the AFL Draft Combine saw the Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy boys complete club interviews, medical screening, media interviews, reaction and psych testing and finished with skill testing under the open roof at Etihad Stadium.
With the combine condensed into three days this year the boys have been kept busy, moving between activities and talking to various clubs.
On speaking with Ben Keays, Eric Hipwood and Mabior Chol earlier in the day, all three boys commented about being excited but also slightly nervous about what laid ahead over the coming days.
Day two will see the bulk of the physical fitness testing with agility, sprint, repeat sprints, vertical jump and the infamous beep test under the watchful eye of 18 AFL recruitment departments.
Four out of our five boys all experienced injuries in the lead-up to the combine playing NEAFL games, so techie testing results might not break any records but they will still give each test their best effort.
