Last Week’s Events
Daniel Rich (MID, $298,000) was on fire against the Pies and almost carried the team to victory in his long awaited return. He scored a game high 111 from 29 disposals and two goals. Dayne Zorko (FWD/MID, $505,000) lived up to his pre-season hype with an impressive 104 and Allen Christensen (FWD/MID, $450,000) also proved his Fantasy worth scoring a ton in his Brisbane debut. Speaking of debuts, despite having the ball on a string, Dayne Beams (MID, $598,000) scored well below expectation with 83 from 33 touches. The bad news was of course ‘My Boy’ Tom Rockliff (MID, $737,000) going down with broken ribs after a typically dominant performance of 79 points, before being subbed off in the third.
On the Radar
Despite rising $30,000 dollars after round one, Daniel Rich still provides great value. He currently has a break-even of just five points, so even if he doesn’t reach the lofty heights of his game against the Pies, he is guaranteed to significantly rise in price again. Jaden McGrath (FWD, $158,000) also looks a likely type for the forward line after scoring 59 from 14 touches on debut.
What’s Coming Up?
Last time the Lion’s played the Roos they had a Fantasy frenzy, with six players reaching the ton. Among them were James Aish (MID, $405,000) who scored a whopping 140 and Jack Redden (MID, $587,000) wasn’t far behind with 123 including a trademark nine tackles. Keep an eye on Lewis Taylor (FWD, $379,000), Stefan Martin (RUC, $623,000) and Dayne Zorko (FWD, $505,000) as all three have a good recent history vs the Kanga’s and should score well.
