After a troublesome year, the Lions went into their final game of the season ready to finish on a high.

And they didn’t fall short. The boys managed an 8-point win over the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba on Saturday.

Stefan Martin was undoubtedly the best player afield with 32 disposals, 50 hit-outs and seven marks.

The Lions’ midfield also dominated, with Tom Rockliff (39 disposals), Pearce Hanley (35), Dayne Zorko (30) and Daniel Rich (27) all influential.

And Jed Adcock charged through the centre to kick an incredible running goal from the 50 in his last game for the Lions.
