Yesterday the Lions broke the drought and had their first win of the 2015 Season! Just eight days after being accused of not caring in their loss to the Suns, the Lions staged a brave second half to overcome Carlton by nine points at Etihad Stadium. The Lions had some strong performers yesterday, but who would you put in our top three?

Lions end drought

Daniel McStay stood up as the focal point in our forward line. He kicked a career high four goals.

Josh Green kicked 3 important goals, and along with the other Mozzies, was pivotal in locking the ball in our forward line with forward pressure.

Our midfield performed well with Dayne Beams gathering 29 possessions, the most of any player on the field. Redden made 10 tackles, followed by Rockliff with 9 and Martin had 38 hit-outs.

Young Harris Andrews was another standout with 7 important marks!
