Queensland Firebirds and Australian Netball Captain Laura Geitz loves her footy – so much so, that she will be providing a special commentary on this Thursday night’s match against Richmond exclusively on Twitter.

Geitz, who will be at the Gabba along with her fellow Firebirds teammates, will take over the Club’s official Twitter account (@brisbanelions) and Tweet LIVE during the first quarter of the Round 5 clash against the Tigers.

Lions Twitter followers are encouraged to get involved during the first quarter by using the hashtag #GeitzTakeover along with the official match day hashtag #AFLLionsTigers.

The Firebirds are proud ambassadors of the Lions, and their skipper will no doubt provide fans with a unique perspective on the game.
