Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Brisbane Bears-Fitzroy Football Club Limited (trading as Brisbane Lions) will be held at the Legends Room, Gate 1 The Gabba, 820 Stanley Street Woolloongabba QLD on Wednesday 18th December 2013, commencing at 6.00pm, to receive and consider the 2013 Financial Report, Directors Report & Independent Audit Report, announce Office Bearers and Directors and to consider any other business.
Notice is hereby given to Members who wish to nominate candidates for election to the Board that nominations must be delivered to the Chief Executive Officer no later than 5.00pm on Friday 1st November, 2013. Nominations shall be in writing and signed by the candidate and by two Full Members in accordance with the Club’s Constitution.
One (1) director, Mr Mick Power AM will retire from his positions in accordance with the Club’s Constitution by rotation at the Annual General Meeting. Mr Power has offered himself for re-election. If there are more nominations for this Board position then the Club will be required to conduct a ballot in accordance with its Constitution.
