The Brisbane Lions are pleased to announce the safe arrival of Co-Captain Jed Adcock and wife Hayley's first son, Archie Edward Adcock, who was born on Tuesday morning. 

Archie weighed in at 6.4 pounds and measured 51cm in length. Mum, baby and dad are all doing well.

He is the second child of the Adcock family, following the birth of daughter Lily in March 2011.  

Should Archie one day decide to pursue a career in football, he will be eligible to be drafted to Club under the father/son rule in around 2031.
