Hi Ash, good luck for this year. Just wondering if you could tell me how Beau McDonals is doing? I know he's back in Perth. Thanks.

He is working out in Karratha and Clontarf College where he is in charge of getting all the indigenous kids to school. He seems to be enjoying it, so good luck to him!

After watching the clip ‘Romancing the Cup’ (very funny I might add if you haven't seen it), I noticed Browny had a tattoo on one of his ankles. What is it?

Browny’s tattoo is a Premiership tattoo that most of the boys got after the Premierships. It was pretty funny watching the big fella sing to the cup and try to play piano with a busted finger!

We all know that Joel Patfull must have a lot of confidence to rock that salad at the moment. Who would you say is the most confident of all you teammates? Which of the new recruits have the most to say?

Joel Patfull has got rid of the salad. He has finally come to terms with his receding hairline, which is good to see. The most confident of all the boys would be Tom Rockliff, the salad that he’s got going on at the moment is horrendous.  Sam Mayes probably has the most to say out of the new recruits. Most of them don’t really talk but he’s the one who seems to talk the most. 

How come the Lions were not switched on at the start of Round 1?

I thought we were, but the Bulldogs played well and it probably just goes back to what Browny said; we had a pretty terrible week of training and we have learnt our lesson from that. To have a good game we need to train well during the week.

Which players should we look out for in 2013 making their debut?

Probably blokes like Sam Mayes and Closey (Michael Close) should be coming into the team soon, so keep an eye on them!

Who can kick the longest goal on the team?

Hey Ash, I have a friend that likes Polks and I was just wondering if he has a girlfriend?

He’s looking for a girlfriend at the moment. I was close to buying a billboard around the Gabba and putting his mobile number and a nice profile picture up there. So Rebecca, maybe jump on E-Harmony and we’ll set up a profile for James. Otherwise just come to training sessions and scream out his name and we’ll see how it goes from there.

Hi Ash, I think we’re missing a bit pace in forward line from Todd Banfield. Any ideas when he might be back? Or if he actually injured?

The forward line with Green and Zorko seems to be working pretty well, so there is a few boys in the twos who will have to bide their time. Todd’s not actually injured, but if he keeps playing the way he has been he will back sometime soon!
