In this week’s Throwback Thursday we take it back to Round 6, 2007 where the Lions flexed their muscles against the Fremantle Dockers in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.

A 3-2 start to the season set the Lions up for a strong performance against a struggling Dockers side, with Ashley McGrath kicking five goals to help his side in the 45-point victory.

Co-captain Jonathan Brown finished with 11 marks, 19 disposals and 2 goals to finish the afternoon, while Simon Black collected 31 touches, seeing him earn 3 votes in the all-important Brownlow Medal vote.
