It was a good game. Always good to get a win, but we need to keep that consistency up. Big Rog did play well and kicked his seven - it was nice after a few weeks of getting bagged and copping a bit from the media that he was able to kick a bag. He hasn’t got a big head. Well, he already has a big head, but I doubt it’ll get any bigger.

It’s been a few years since I got stuck into Toddy and Richy, so thank you for reminding me. No, they haven’t got any better. The cobwebs are still there and both are very very tight with money still. I think Richy’s actually got even tighter. He seems to get all his clothes and hats and games of golf for free. He’s good at pestering people for free stuff.

Question: Hi Ash, I saw the Lions Reserves thumped the GWS Reserves on the weekend by about 200 points, that is embarrassing! But GWS Reserves beat the Gold Coast Reserves last week… so does this make our Reserves team basically the dominant force in the NEAFL?
Our Reserves are going great. They’re right up the top of the ladder. I haven’t had a chance to see them yet but there’s some good competition especially with some sides like Gold Coast or NT Thunder who go pretty well.

Yeah, they’ll be hurting after last week. They’ve got that shinbone spirit so you’ve got to be careful, they’ll come out fighting. We have to do everything we can to stay on the ball and hopefully get another win for our Melbourne fans.

James Polkinghorne would be my pick. He travels a lot and is very organised, so he would just do everything for you.
