The Lions have made four changes ahead of Saturday night’s crucial showdown with North Melbourne at Gold Coast Stadium.

Tom Collier, Cheynee Stiller and premiership duo Tim Notting and Robert Copeland have been omitted from the side that suffered a heart-breaking three-point loss to Richmond last week, making way for Colm Begley, Rhan Hooper, Albert Proud and debutante Scott Clouston to be included in the senior team.

Begley returns from a lengthy stint on the sidelines with a quad injury while Hooper is back after a one-match absence.

Proud has been knocking on the door of selection for the past couple of months following a string of dominant performances with the Suncoast Lions and will play his first senior match since Round 7.

Clouston will become the Club’s sixth debutante for the season. The 21 year-old key position prospect was elevated from the Club’s Rookie List last month after impressing across half-forward.

A natural sportsman, Clouston excelled in swimming, cricket and soccer as a junior before choosing to concentrate on his football career.

The Lions are hoping all Club members and supporters can get along to Saturday night’s away match at Gold Coast Stadium to show their crowd support for the team at this critical stage of the season.
