Victorian-based fans will be hoping the Brisbane Lions can replicate their efforts from Round 1 against Melbourne at the MCG by securing another win away from home against the high flying Bombers.
Fans who are headed to Etihad Stadium this Saturday afternoon will also have the opportunity to meet some of the Lions players at the Club's official after match function in the Victory Room (Level 1, Aisle 14-16).
The 'meet and greet' is FREE for all Lions fans and is scheduled to start shortly after the final siren. There will also be plenty of prizes and giveaways up for grabs as part of a post-game raffle and trivia competition.
It will be the second chance for the Victorian faithful to meet their heroes in 2012 after the players stayed back briefly to sign autographs following the team's NAB Cup match against the Bombers.
A third post-match event is also planned for after the team's clash against North Melbourne in Round 9 at Etihad Stadium.
And don't forget - Melbourne fans will also have the chance to be a part of history when the Lions host their inaugural Hall of Fame induction at Crown Palladium on Saturday 23 June.
The team will also wear a Fitzroy-inspired heritage-style guernsey for their Round 13 match against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium - on the afternoon before the Hall of Fame event.
