Jack was probably our best player during Sunday’s tough loss to the Eagles, racking up a team-high 28 disposals, to go along with eight tackles and a goal.
It earned him the honour as the team’s top Dream Team scorer for Round 18 with 109 points.
He was one of only two Lions players to top the ‘ton’ last weekend together with Browny, who was worth 102 points courtesy of his 19 disposals, seven marks and three goals.
More importantly for Redden, his effort edges him five points clear of Rockliff who has been the team’s Dream Team leader for the majority of the year.
Dayne Zorko continued his good form with a team-high nine tackles which helped him reach 99 points.
Even though Zorko ranks 9th overall at the Club with 1,070 points this season, his impressive 97.27 points per game puts him only slightly behind Redden (101.24) and Rockliff (100.94) in terms of averages.

Meanwhile, LeueyLongerCombo looks to be in control of the Lions’ Dream Team League, kicking away to a 400 point lead over the second placed PAUL R BEARS.
But congratulations to ‘Sueperior’ who has been among the top five ranked teams over the past two Rounds, and now finds herself in fifth overall in the Club’s comp.
POLKS’ TIP FOR THE WEEK
With only one week left before AFL Dream Team Finals, those teams who have already shored up their spots will probably be holding onto their trades for another week.
If, like me, you’re not going to play in Finals, you might as well go for broke and try to pick up some ground while you can in terms of overall points.
I only have two trades left, and am seriously considering using them this week in a last ditch effort to rise further up the Lions’ League ladder.
