The Brisbane Lions have added Danny Daly to their coaching staff for the upcoming 2015 season.
Daly will take on the role of Stoppage Strategy Coach at the Lions, once again joining forces with Justin Leppitsch, whom he coached alongside at Richmond.
Daly has spent the past five seasons as the Tigers’ Midfield Stoppage Coach and will join the Lions in a similar role. Prior to Richmond, he spent six seasons at North Melbourne in a number of roles.
Leppitsch said Daly would prove a valuable addition to the Lions’ coaching panel.
“I’ve known Danny personally for some time and have worked alongside him extensively during my time at Richmond.” Leppitsch said.
“He has a fantastic knowledge of opposition players and is a great acquisition for our Club.
“I’m really pleased with the coaching group we’ve assembled to date.”
