Melbourne-based Brisbane Lions members and supporters will have the opportunity to officially farewell retired ‘Lion King’ Jonathan Brown at this Sunday’s match against Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.

Brown will make a special appearance at the Club’s official Round 19 aftermatch function in the Victory Room (Level 1, Aisles 14-16) to address the Victorian faithful for the first time since announcing his retirement.

The function will commence as soon as the final siren sounds, and all fans are encouraged to come along and pay their respects to one of the Club’s greatest ever players.

Official ‘Thank You Browny’ souvenir placards (pictured below) will be handed out to all those who attend*.

A selection of other Lions players will also appear at the aftermatch event, which will run from approximately 4pm – 5:30pm.

Gold 104.3’s Craig Huggins will host the FREE event, while food and drinks will be available for purchase inside the Victory Room.
