Zac Bailey has been recalled to the Senior side for the first time since Round 14, after being named in Senior Coach Chris Fagan’s team to take on the Gold Coast this Saturday at Metricon Stadium.
Bailey replaces Darcy Gardiner, who had surgery on his right shoulder earlier this week and will miss the rest of the season.
Bailey, in his first season of AFL, has played ten games for the Lions since making his debut in Round 4 at the MCG against Richmond.
The midfielder has been dominating in the NEAFL competition in recent weeks. In Round 18’s clash against the Sydney Swans, he finished with three goals, 26 disposals and three tackles.
Ruckman Stef Martin will play his 100th game for the Lions on Saturday in the 16th occurrence of the QClash.
The Lions have won nine matches overall to the Suns’ six.
Bounce is at 7.25pm on Saturday night and Lions Queensland full-season members receive free entry to the game.
