Humid conditions didn’t deter Brisbane Lions supporters on Monday.
About 200 fans headed to Giffin Park, Coorparoo to watch the Lions 2016 squad train in a Members Open Training Session.
Sponsors Hyundai provided the barbeque for the afternoon and sausages generously donated from Carina North Quality Meats and drinks from Coca-Cola were so popular they sold out.
Four'N Twenty’s meat pies and sausage rolls were a hit and Triple M provided some tunes for the afternoon.
Following the session the players made their way over to greet the Club’s Members, signing autographs and posing for a few photos. Members even got the chance to meet the newest and youngest draftees, potentially getting their very first autograph ever!
Fan favourite Dayne Zorko and teammates Josh Green and Billy Evans even stopped for a kick-to-kick session with some young supporters.
