LAST TIME THEY MET
In one of the Club’s most memorable games from 2012, the Lions hosted the Crows on a clear night at the Gabba and got off to a very shaky start.

The Crows were dominant in the first quarter, piling on six goals, where the Lions could only manage three points in a sluggish display. But some quarter-time break magic (or perhaps an earful from the coach) spurred the Lions into action, and they kicked five goals in the second term to close the gap to just 11 points.

The Lions continued their run in the third and fourth quarters, matching the visitors at every turn and carrying a four-point lead with just 90 seconds left in the game, before Vice Captain Tom Rockliff kicked his first goal of the game to seal victory for the home team.

Rohan Bewick kicked three goals for the Lions, while Jack Redden (30 disposals, nine tackles), Daniel Rich (22 disposals, 2 goals) and Dayne Zorko (22 disposals) were among the best on field.

Brownlow votes: 3. D. Rich (BL) 2. S. Thompson (Adel) 1. D. Zorko (BL)

Lions Physical Performance Manager Brett Burton played 170 games for Adelaide from 1999-2010.
