The Brisbane Lions will be on the hunt for their fourth straight win in the VFL when they face Williamstown at Moreton Bay Sporting Complex tomorrow.
The Lions will look to continue their red-hot form in the VFL's first-ever Sir Doug Nicholls Round, which will see them wear the 2022 Indigenous Guernsey, designed by Darryl White.
Brisbane head into the Round off the back of a bye week, with four wins, two losses, and a game in hand.
Rhys Mathieson will lead the charge in the midfield for the Lions, having had an impressive start to his 2022 season.
The attacking midfielder has averaged 31.6 disposals, 5.3 marks and 7.5 clearances, as well as a total seven goals, across his six games this season.
Tom Berry returns to the VFL from senior medi-sub duties, named in the midfield alongside Mathieson for this weekend’s clash.
Young talents Darcy Wilmot, Jimmy Tunstill, Kalin Lane and Henry Smith were also all named in the side following their re-signings at the Club earlier this week.
The Brisbane Lions will play Williamstown at the Moreton Bay Sports Complex at 1:35PM on Saturday May 21. Can’t be there? You can catch all the action live at afl.com.au/afl-tv
