One change has been made to the Brisbane Lions’ AFLW side ahead of Sunday’s match against the Narrm Football Club*, with veteran defender Sharni Webb named in Head Coach Craig Starcevich’s Best 21.
Webb comes in for Dee Heslop, who has been sidelined under AFL Concussion Protocols after developing delayed concussion symptoms following last Saturday’s QClash.
The Lions have only managed to overcome Narrm once in the last six seasons, with the Demons taking the last five of six wins.
Webb was part of the inaugural Brisbane Lions side that laid claim to the Club’s only AFLW victory over Narrm back in Round 1, 2017.
It’s a record the Lions will be looking to set straight when they face Narrm this Sunday at Casey Fields.
Due to a clash in Indigenous Round guernsey designs between the Brisbane Lions and the Narrm Football Club, the Lions will wear their clash guernsey this weekend.

*For the duration of AFLW Indigenous Round, the Melbourne Football Club will be rebranded as the Narrm Football Club. Narrm is the Aboriginal name for Melbourne which comes from the Woi Wurrung language, spoken by the traditional owners of the city and its surrounds.
